Researchers from Ukraine - in the face of war in their country - need support so that they can work in science!
Who are we?
We are part of the system of financing science in Poland, which consists not only of public agencies but also of our non-governmental organization, the FNP. We are an independent entity that operates differently from state institutions but still cooperates with them. What connects us above all is the shared concern for the development of science.
What distinguishes the FNP from state institutions is the source of financing. Although we sometimes enter into alliances with the public administration and partake in the process of allocating structural funds in Poland, we remain a private foundation whose independence is founded on the ability to independently create and finance our activities.
