To enable this support, the Foundation for Polish Science has launched the FOR UKRAINE - Programme for Scientists from Ukraine Cooperating with Scientists from Poland, which will finance projects in the social sciences and humanities, conducted jointly by scientists from Ukraine and Poland.

Every donation to the programme’s future laureates is very important to us. Funds raised from donations will be used exclusively to engage individuals from Ukraine to implement projects in this programme.

Your donation will support scientific research of great importance to Ukraine, Poland, and the entire region, which will contribute to the development of civil society, democracy, security, and European integration – values fundamental to the future of our countries.

FOR UKRAINE Programme:

• responds to the needs created by the tragic events in Ukraine (both of specific people and the whole society) due to the brutal aggression by Russia;

• provides scientists with annual employment and resources to conduct research (e.g. equipment, travel, access to databases, archives, translation, promotion, student salaries, etc.)

• aims to intensify international cooperation of scientists from Ukraine and to implement joint scientific projects – also with Polish researchers – oriented toward deepening knowledge on issues related to the development of civil society, democracy, security, and European integration.
